Arthritis

Arthritis is the Inflammation of one or more joints, causing pain and stiffness. Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis that occurs in the joints of the hips, knees, and spine. However, it can also disturb the fingers, thumb, neck, and large toe. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic disease that causes inflammation of the lining of the joints, and can lead to long-term joint damage which results in chronic pain, loss of function and disability.

Arthritis often occurs if you’re overweight, putting more pressure on your back, knees, and joints by doing rigorous activities. Other Symptoms of arthritis include swelling or stiffness, joins that look red or feels warm to touch, tenderness, trouble moving, and the inability to do daily tasks that patients would otherwise have no issue performing. About 1 in 5 adults have some form of arthritis and the risk of developing arthritis only increases as patients get older.
