Why Does My Back Crack?

Here are a few possible causes for spinal crepitus:   -Arthritic crepitus: osteoarthritis happens over time when your joints are worn down from everyday movement. With this condition, you’ll hear a popping or cracking when moving. -Crepitus by cavitation: a cracking or popping sound when moving normally. It also happens near your spine’s extent of motion.
